It feels more like a daytime soap opera but with a higher budget. It's like they have one scene per character set or timeline that is just stretched out throughout the episode and they go back and forth. Since then the anime has a had a few other spin-offs. During this span, it premiered a total of 12 episodes with each one of them being 24 minutes long. The first season of Interview With the Vampire, while losing a bit of luster towards the end of the season, was mostly very good and I paid attention! When I'm watching this show, I'm multitasking because again, so little happens.
